Add SEPA direct debit as a payment and collection method in your center with Trainingym Payments®.
Now, after linking your Stripe account in Trainingym Payments®, you can include SEPA direct debit as a payment method.
SEPA direct debits are a payment method where a customer provides their bank account details (IBAN) and grants permission (mandate) to charge that account.
The Stripe platform supports SEPA direct debits for businesses based in Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

1. Activate SEPA Direct Debit as an Online Payment Method
Access the Payments - Configuration - General menu to link your Stripe account (discover this step HERE 👈) and enable SEPA direct debit as a payment method. Click Save to apply the changes.
2. Share Product Payment Link
Share the payment link for any product configured in your fitness center and its associated prices (monthly, quarterly, etc.).
Access the Payments - Products - Configuration menu, find the desired product (single or recurring), and select ✏️Edit.
You’ll just need to click on the 📜clipboard icon, and the link will be automatically copied so you can share this direct link to facilitate the purchase.

3. Cancel Recurring Direct Debit Payment When Canceling a Subscription
Automatically cancel your clients’ recurring payments after they cancel their subscription to a recurring payment product. To do this, access the Payments - Products - Manage Subscriptions menu and click the cancel button.
👉🚨 If you cancel a subscription generated with direct debit as the payment method, the recurring payment will also be canceled.
4. Manage Disputes
View disputed SEPA payments and easily access Stripe to manage them from the Payments - Payments - Options - Manage Dispute menu.
- Bank payments and SEPA direct debits will be recorded as “Successful.”
- If a fitness client disputes a payment made by direct debit, the payment will be marked as “Disputed.”
- Payments with a “Disputed” status will include the “Manage Dispute” option in the Options menu. After clicking, you’ll be redirected to your Stripe Admin Panel.
- If the dispute is resolved in favor of the client, the payment status will change to “Canceled.”
- If the dispute is resolved in favor of the fitness center, the payment status will change to “Successful.”
5. Purchase the Desired Product from the "Payment URL"
As a client, you can access the 💳 payment for the desired product through the URL provided by your trainer.
Click the button to purchase and go to the registration website to enter your email and log in or complete the registration form to finalize the purchase.
6. Pay by Direct Debit (SEPA Direct Debit)
As a client, you can now pay for your desired products via direct debit.
During the checkout process when purchasing products, rates, and services, you’ll need to select “Direct Debit” and enter/confirm your payment details.
👉🚨 Recurring payments will always be linked to the main payment method configured.
7. View and Add Bank Account as a Payment Method
As a client, you can view and add your bank accounts and cards to use them as a payment method via SEPA direct debit in My Profile - Payment Method.
To add a “bank account,” you’ll need to enter your payment details and accept the SEPA mandate to complete the process.
You can delete bank accounts created (as long as at least one active payment method remains) and there are no active subscriptions.
