Where to customize the app?

The first step is to locate the menu to customize our app.

1. Log in to Trainingym Manager with your access credentials.
2. Scroll through the side menu until you find the My Center menu.
3. Expand it and select the APP option.

Here you will find different menus. Depending on whether you have subscribed to the Premium Custom App module or not, you will be able to edit various parameters that will be visible to your customers in the app.

You can expand or collapse each of the menus to improve visibility.

Permission that controls the App menu

To view this new app menu, you need to have the "Customize App" permission enabled, which can be found under the My Center > Permissions menu, and within the "My Center" section.

Let's see what each version includes. 🤓

App Starter

The App Starter is included for all Trainingym plans at no additional cost. It allows you to set up schedules and activities, manage workouts, and make some changes to the app to tailor it to the services available at your fitness center. It will appear on Google Play and the Apple Store under the name Trainingym. Below, we show you the editable menus in the App Starter.

 

Center Menu

In the Center menu, you can manage the visibility of the sections your center has subscribed to, arrange them as you like, edit their names, and preview how they will appear in the client's app.

• Control the visibility of the menus by toggling the side switch on or off.

• Edit the name of each section.
  
  • Click on "✏️ Edit" to open the edit modal.
    
  • Edit the section name. Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters.
    
  • You can reset the tool's default settings if you wish by clicking on "Reset Settings".

• Arrange the sections as you like, placing the most important ones in the featured section.
  
  • As in other parts of the tool, press and hold on the left side of the section and drag it to the desired position.
    
  • You can arrange the sections between the featured or secondary parts. Add or remove sections from the featured and/or secondary parts by simply dragging them.
• Preview how your customers will see the menu in their app.
  
  • Press the "Preview" button to open the modal and scroll through it to see how your customers will view the sections in the application.
    
    
• Remember 💾 to save the changes so they are visible in the client's app.

 

Profile Menu

In the Profile menu, you can manage the visibility of buttons linked to weigh-ins and various health sections and tests, as well as preview how it will appear in your clients' app.

Buttons related to weighings

• Weighing Scale Registration Button.
  
  • This button is linked to the Balance scale weighings. For it to appear, we must first internally activate your Balance scale.
  • Toggle the switch to enable or disable a button in the My Profile menu, allowing your customers to perform a weighing with Balance.
  • This switch only controls the weighing scale registration option in the Profile section and is independent of the button that appears in the Home menu.

  • Remember 💾 to save the changes so they can be applied.

• Botón registro manual de composición corporal:
  • This button is linked to manually recording the client's body composition (entering the data manually into the device).
  • For this button to appear, the permission "Allow partners to manually record their body composition" must have been previously activated in the Partners' Permissions section.

• • This switch only controls the manual body composition entry option in the My Profile section, and is independent of the button that appears in the Home menu.
  • Remember 💾 to save the changes so they are applied.

Health Sections and Tests

From the Profile menu, you can control the visibility of the different health and test sections.

The sections available to you are:

• Cooper Test
• 1RM Strength Test
• Flexibility test

You will be able to:

• Control the visibility of the sections by toggling the switch to the left of each one.

• Arrange the sections as you like. Press and hold on the left side of each section and drag it to the desired position.

General

From here you can edit the corporate color of the app.

You can edit the background color of the buttons and the text color of the buttons.

Button background color

1. Click on the colored box to open the edit modal.

Start Menu

The Start menu is the first thing customers see when they access the app. Customize the content you want to include in it.

• Edit the menu name. Maximum 10 characters.
  
• Select the main shortcut to be displayed at the top right of the screen.
• Control the visibility of different sections by toggling the corresponding switch on or off.
  
• Arrange the sections to your liking. Press and hold on the left side of the section and drag it to the desired location.
  
• Edit the sections by clicking on ✏️ Edit.
  
  
  
  • Upload an image. Aspect ratio 16:9
  • Modification:
    • Section Name.
    • Title.  
    • Subtitle. 
    • Button text.
  • Click "Confirm" to apply the edit.

• You can preview how customers will see the menu in their app.
  
  • Press the "Preview" button.
  • Hover over the image to view all sections.

• Remember 💾 to save so the changes are visible in the app.

Let's examine the specific details of each section:

Agenda

• If activated, it will be visible in the client's app, and the reservations made by the member for both activities and services will appear.
• You can edit:
  
  • Section Name. Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters. Required field.
  • Featured image. The aspect ratio is 16:9.
  • Title: Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters.
  • Subtitle. Maximum 50 alphanumeric characters.
  • Activity Reservation Button. When activated, it displays the button that allows customers to book activities. You can modify the button name. Maximum of 25 alphanumeric characters.
  • Service Booking Button: When activated, it displays the button that allows customers to book services. You can modify the button's name. Maximum of 25 alphanumeric characters.

• • You can reset the settings to display the default image and text.
    
• If disabled, the cards for reserved activities and scheduled services, as well as tasks and appointments from the induction process, will still be displayed.

Training

• You can customize what the client will see if they don't have any training assigned.

  • Create Training Button: When activated, this button allows the member to create their own training sessions. You can modify the button's name, with a maximum of 25 alphanumeric characters.
  • You can reset the settings to display the default image and text.

 

Body composition

• • Section Name. Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters. Required field.
  • Activate Balance button. You can modify the button text.
    
    • Viewing this section and button requires having an activated Balance scale in the center.
  • Manual registration button. You can modify the button text.
    
    • The visibility of this section and button is conditioned by the partner permission "Allow partners to manually record their body composition," in addition to having this module activated in your sports center.
      
  • Historical Weigh-In Button. You can modify the button text.

• • You can reset the settings to display the default text.
  

Diet

• Viewing this section requires having the nutrition module contracted and active in your center.
  • Section Name. Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters.
  • Featured image. Aspect ratio 16:9.
   
  • Title: Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters.
  • Subtitle. Maximum 50 alphanumeric characters.
  • You can reset the settings to display the default image and text.
    

Rewards

• Viewing this section requires the Rewards module to be contracted in your center and active in My Center-Permissions-Rewards.
  • Section Name. Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters.
  • Featured Image. Ratio 16:9
  • Title. Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters.
  • Subtitle. Maximum 50 alphanumeric characters.
  • Points Card: Once activated, it allows the customer to check their points and request rewards.
  • Invite Button: When activated, it allows the customer to send an invitation to a family member or friend to try your business. Additionally, you can edit the button's name, with a maximum of 25 alphanumeric characters.
  • View Rewards Button: When activated, it allows the customer to check the rewards offered by the center. Maximum of 25 alphanumeric characters.
  • Button to go to Rewards menu. Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters. Enabled allows the customer to access the Rewards module and perform the following actions:
    
    • Check your points.
    • Send an invitation to a family member or friend to try your business.
    • Redeem your points for rewards.
    • Check the status of your referrals (invited).
    • Check your points history.
    • Watch the tutorial on how to earn points.

• • You can reset the settings to display the default text.
   
  

Sync with Health Apps

Allows the app to connect with Health Connect and Apple Health, enabling the collection and editing of data related to:

• Section Title. Max 25 Characters.
• Subtitle. Maximum 25 characters.
• Rest card. Maximum 25 characters.
• Activity Card. Maximum 25 characters.
• You can reset the settings to display the default text.
  

 

My Center Menu

In the My Center menu, you can set up activities, services, and bookable products, as well as additional services offered by the center, by creating new sections to include your personalized URLs.

• Create featured or secondary sections.
  
  • Click on "Add section".
    
  • Fill in the required fields and add the desired images.
    
    • Name in the App. Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters.
    • Destination URL
    • Main Menu Image
    • Secondary menu image

• • Press "Confirm" when you have finished creating your section to add it to the menu and enable its display in the app.
  
  
   

• Preview how your customers will see the sections of the My Center menu:

Profile Menu

In the Profile menu, you can configure the visibility, name, and images of the tracking, measurements, and client tests sections.

 

 

 
• Edit the highlighted text in the "My Profile" tab. Maximum 100 alphanumeric characters.
  
• Edit the visibility and text of the weighing buttons:
  
  • Weight Registration Button with Scale
    
    • The visibility of this button is contingent upon having the Balance BT Scale by Trainingym activated in your sports center.
    • Edit the button text and display. Maximum 25 alphanumeric characters.

Chat Menu

The Chat menu allows you to edit certain aspects of the screen that your customers see while having conversations with the center's staff.

 
• Edit the conversation list text. Maximum 15 alphanumeric characters.
  
• Edit the list of professionals' text. Maximum 15 alphanumeric characters.
  
• You can preview how customers will see the menu in their app by clicking the "Preview" button.
  
  
• Remember 💾 to save so that the changes are visible in the app.

QR Menu

Members can access this menu in the app under More-QR or if they have the direct access configured in the Agenda tab.

Partner Permissions

In this section, you can restrict certain features available to your customers in the app. This section is common and visible for the Starter app, configurable Pro app, and Customized Pro app.

• Allow partners to edit their assigned workout exercises

If enabled, it allows you to replace, remove, and add exercises to routines, workouts, and/or programs, as well as edit their loads.

If disabled, editing the routine from the app will not be allowed.

This setting also affects access to a routine from the kiosk/totem/virtual trainer (Trainingym Touch).

• Allow members to self-assign workouts at my center

If enabled, clients are allowed to assign themselves the routines, workouts, and programs that the center has visible.

If the "Assign Me a Workout" button is disabled, it will disappear from the app's Home menu. You can still access "Training" from the My Center menu, but this section will only lead to "My Workouts" (workouts saved by the user), without the option to assign new routines/workouts.

This setting also takes effect when accessing a routine from the kiosk/totem/virtual trainer (Trainingym Touch).

 

Allow partners to manually record their body composition

If enabled, customers are allowed to validate scheduled events without the obligation to follow a predetermined order.

Allow members to manually record their body composition

Additionally, when activated, the "Register My Weight" button will appear in the Home menu, and you'll be able to control its visibility in the My Profile menu.

If the options related to manual body composition recording are disabled, they will disappear from the Start menu and My Profile.

Allow members to create their own diet

If you have the nutrition module activated in your center, you can ensure that clients are assigned a diet through their app.

If activated, the client will be able to access the form to assign themselves a diet after entering their body composition data, training level, and goal.

If deactivated, the client will be directed to the Contact section in the app when they click on the "Diet" sections in the home menu and My Center.

Request two-factor authentication to access the app

If enabled, a code will be required to access the app. This will not affect previously registered partners.

Request account verification to complete registration

 

Remember to save the changes so they are visible in the client's app.

Partner Permissions

In this section, you can limit some features available to your customers in the app.

This section is common and visible for the Starter app, configurable Pro app, and Customized Pro app.
